Our $500 donated electrical voucher helped one household tick off some long-awaited electrical upgrades.
This project had a little more meaning behind it than your average electrical job. ❤️
Ferguson Electrical previously donated a $500 electrical voucher to a Special Olympics fundraising event, and recently we had the pleasure of visiting the lucky winner at their Highett home to finally put it to use.
Rather than using the voucher for just one small job, the homeowners put it towards several electrical improvements they'd been wanting to complete around their home.
Our team completed a range of installations, including a client-supplied feature pendant in the stairwell, ceiling fan, two bathroom heater lights and two eave lights.
We also installed the required switching for the new lighting.
It was a great mix of practical upgrades and feature lighting, with the stairwell pendant in particular making a huge visual difference.
As a local family-run business, supporting community organisations and events is something we value enormously.
Donating the voucher was our small way of contributing to the Special Olympics fundraiser, but being able to meet the winner and then see exactly where that donation ended up made the experience even better.
