Returning to a Seaford home for new lighting, power points, outdoor electrical and power for external blinds

There’s something particularly rewarding about being invited back to a client’s home for their next project.
Our Ferguson Electrical team recently returned to this Seaford home to complete another stage of electrical upgrades as part of the owners’ ongoing renovations.
Having worked at the property previously, we were able to build on the existing electrical work and help our clients continue transforming their home with practical improvements to their lighting, power and outdoor electrical.
This stage of the renovation involved electrical work across both the interior and exterior of the home, including:
While some renovation projects happen all at once, plenty of our clients choose to improve their homes progressively.
Working with the same electrician across multiple stages can make that process easier, particularly when the electrical team already understands the property, previous work completed and the homeowner's longer-term plans.
Motorised external blinds are becoming a popular addition to Melbourne homes, but the electrical requirements need to be considered as part of the installation.
For this Seaford project, our team installed the required electrical power for the external blinds, allowing the blind installation to integrate neatly with the home's existing electrical system.
Planning the electrical component alongside other renovation works can also help achieve a cleaner finished result and avoid unnecessary work later.
Lighting can make an enormous difference to both the appearance and functionality of a renovated home.
As part of this project, we completed new lighting installations inside the property as well as exterior lighting works, helping improve illumination throughout the home and surrounding outdoor areas.
When planning lighting during a renovation, we consider more than simply where a fitting will go. Position, intended use, existing wiring and how the lighting works with the overall space all play a role in achieving a practical finished result.
Renovations are also a great opportunity to reconsider where power is actually needed.
Homes change over time, and power point locations that once made sense aren't always suitable for the way a space is used today.
Our team installed additional power points at the Seaford property, providing convenient access to power where the homeowners now need it and integrating the new outlets with the wider renovation.
One of our favourite parts of this particular project is simply that we've been here before.
For a small, family-run electrical business, a client asking us to return for their next stage of work is something we're genuinely proud of.
It tells us that their previous experience with Ferguson Electrical was one they were happy to repeat, and we don't take that trust for granted.
Whether we're completing a small electrical upgrade or working with a homeowner across several stages of a renovation, our aim is to provide the same reliable communication, quality workmanship and care for the property each time we attend.
