Modern Lighting Upgrade in Chelsea

What About the Ceiling Patches?

You may notice some areas around the new fittings in our project photos that haven't yet received their final paint finish.

This is a normal part of some lighting alterations.

When a larger existing fitting, such as an oyster light, is removed and replaced with a smaller pendant or downlight, the footprint, fixing points or ceiling openings from the previous fitting can become visible.

Where required as part of this project, the affected areas were made good following our electrical works. The final surface preparation and painting will then be completed by the painter to blend these areas into the surrounding ceiling.

Coordinating the electrical and finishing stages in this way allows homeowners to change the style and position of their lighting rather than being restricted by the footprint of the fittings that were previously installed.
