With Christmas coming up fast, this Chelsea Heights family wanted their renovation wrapped up safely and professionally — especially the electrical works. They supplied their new light fittings and switches, and we handled everything from rewiring to final installation, making sure the home was ready for plaster, paint and the festive season.

Front Room Updates

The front room received a full electrical refresh, including:

• Wiring and replacing two double powerpoints (client-supplied)
• Installing a new feature light to transform the space
• Adding an extra double powerpoint in the corner for better usability
• Safely disconnecting old wiring ahead of plastering

These upgrades created a clean, modern and functional room that’s now ready for furniture, decorating and festive gatherings.

Second Room Improvements

In the second room, we focused on lighting and power access:

• Installed three new double powerpoints (client-supplied)
• Fitted a centred ceiling light to brighten the space
• Installed a two-gang switch with dimmer for flexible lighting control
• Disconnected all existing wiring before plaster

The dimmer feature is perfect for softer evening lighting and adds a premium touch to the newly renovated room.

Home Network Improvements

It wasn’t just lighting and power — this home also needed better networking.

We relocated the NBN fibre into a cupboard for a cleaner setup, then moved the router to a better location chosen by the client.
This upgrade improves WiFi performance, keeps hardware hidden and sets the home up for strong internet coverage heading into the holidays.
