Transforming BAM Arts Studio 2 with New Lighting and Cooling

BAM Arts is a not-for-profit organisation that empowers people with disabilities through performing and visual arts. The Challenge
Studio 2 at BAM Arts is a busy creative hub where participants produce vibrant artwork and spend long sessions in the space. The studio lighting was not designed to showcase the artwork properly, and the room also needed better air circulation to keep participants comfortable during workshops and exhibitions.

Our Solution
The Ferguson Electrical team designed and installed two key upgrades:

• Track Lighting: Brand new track lighting systems with adjustable fittings, allowing each artwork to be highlighted in true colour and detail while brightening the entire studio.
• Ceiling Fan: A large, high-performance fan to improve airflow and create a more comfortable space for everyone using the studio.

The Result
The transformation was instant. The new track lighting turned the studio into a professional gallery, bringing every piece of art to life. The fan now keeps the space cool and inviting, ensuring participants and staff can focus on creating without distraction.
